The Khaki Dress

Hi Everyone!

So i randomly went into Dunnes the other day which is a clothing shop next to most Morrisons stores in the UK?! I was actually so surprised with the amount of nice things in there and I managed to pick up this dress in the sale. I don’t wear straight, boxy style dresses very often because when I’m sitting down they can get uncomfortable, but this one is made out of lovely stretchy fabric with a drawstring at the waist to give you more shape. I love the zip detailing on the front and the length is perfect for me.

I wanted to add this belt instead of using the drawstring on the dress as I love the contrast of the tan leather against the green, also this belt was a complete bargain at 3 pounds! I think it looks much more expensive than that!

My look almost has a western/safari vibe as I’ve complimented it with this denim shirt which is a perfect cover up when the weather is hot one minute but chilly the next! I really love the tone of blue in this shirt, it’s really vibrant and works so well with the outfit.

The last thing I have to mention is this choker…. I saw it in the shop and had to have it! It won’t be to everyones taste as it’s quite a statement, but I love the fun element to it.
