Hi Everyone,
Last weekend I went to the final Clothes Show to be held at Birmingham NEC since 1989! It’s moving to Liverpool in the summer next year for the foreseeable future, so I wanted to give you the low down on what I saw, what was there and most importantly, what I bought!

The fashion show this year wasn’t as good as previous years I felt, there wasn’t much in the way of a theme which tied all of the fashion pieces together and they didn’t have as much well known music. They did however have a saxophone player who was amazing and it gave a really unusual twist to the fashion show.

There were a huge amount of stands there from accessories, beauty, clothing and homeware including brands like Spectrum Brushes, Barry M, Models Own, Elemis, In The Style and Oasis, with a lot of them having exclusive deals just for the Clothes Show.
I managed to pick up the most beautiful make up brush from Spectrum which isn’t going to be released until January 2017 but was on special offer at the show.

Also this make up bag from Barry M which included loads of their products for only £10 which is incredible! Also helps that the makeup bag itself is super instagram friendly..!

I also picked up this cute jumper for the crazy price of £5! I mean, it’s not exactly the softest of knits and it won’t be incredible quality but such a bargain.

There were a few celebrities there including a couple of my favourite bloggers/youtubers Sarah Ashcroft and Lydia Millen who did a panel as well as fashion stylist Mark Heyes and Jo Elvin who is the editor of Glamour magazine.

What I wore;
Top – New Look
Jacket – Stradivarius (sold out alternative here)
Leggings – Old Matalan
Boots – Primark
Bag – New Look (sold out alternatives here and here)
Also, just a side-note for all of you fellow people in wheelchairs; the NEC also has a brand new Changing Places toilet.. which is the best news! So if you’re ever going to an event there, we found it near Hall 20.
Much Love,
