Following on from Sunday’s post, here’s my Gift Guide for the men in your life! And as a plus everything is under £30 so perfect for stocking fillers or secret santa.
Can you believe Christmas is only 3 weeks away today! I thought I’d give you some inspiration in a couple of Gift Guides of what you can get for the ones you love if you still have some presents to buy!
I hope this has helped! I’ve got a Gift Guide for all of the men in your life coming on Wednesday, so stay tuned!
The bell sleeve trend is everywhere right now and I wasn’t sure how accessible it would be to someone in a wheelchair and if it was even worth it because the effect might be lost as I’m always sitting down. I stumbled across this top on instagram and I knew I had to try it when I found out it was less than £10.00!!
It’s a lovely pleat material, so really comfortable and easy to wear and I love the sleeves so much! I think they still stand out even though I’m sitting down and they’re not too annoying either.
This look is quite minimal for me, but I was just having one of those days where I didn’t want to add to much jewellery-wise and I think the top speaks for itself and I didn’t want to distract away from the beautiful high neckline.
Of course I did add a bit of fun when it came to the jacket and shoes as I can’t be too sensible ;). I felt the camo bomber jacket and trainers gave it an edge and stopped it from being too overly feminine.
Have you tried the bell sleeve trend? What did you think?
You may notice a theme emerging on my blog with my love for khaki dresses! But I wanted to show you a different way to wear one compared to my last post here.
I love the 90s trend at the moment and layering t-shirts under dresses for a unique look. This dress is perfect for me as it’s huge so it’s comfortable when sitting but I decided to cinch in the waist to give me some shape. I also love adding a print to make a statement on an outfit and camouflage is really popular at the moment which I have used in this neck tie.
I have mentioned my feet before and how much I hate them! And I always struggle to find shoes which fit me because my feet are so wide, it’s one of the things I get from my disability that I hate the most! But these trainers are so awesome and I’ve barely taken them off since the start of summer! The trainer part covers up most of my feet which is brilliant and the fact they are open at the back keeps them perfect for the hot weather and to slip on and off so easily!
As it’s summertime now, I wanted to give you an update on the make up I’ve been wearing lately! I’ve recently been on my honeymoon as you may know and the majority of this look I wore religiously from one day to the next as it’s so simple!
I’ve been going for a simple coppery/peach eye, using dark eyeshadow on my lash line so it’s super quick and I’m not faffing around for hours trying to do perfect eyeliner! I’ve also upped my highlight game after purchasing a certain beauuuutiful palette that I will be reviewing in a couple of weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Thanks to the blogging community and instagram going mad for YSL’s quilted beauty, I found myself looking around for a much more purse friendly option! Luckily I found this amazing dupe in New Look and I have to say it’s one of my favourite bags for a long time!
Its slightly different to the YSL shape due to it having zips and no flap over the top, but the quilted pattern is so similar. The size of this New Look version is perfect for fitting in all my everyday essentials and it’s black of course so it pretty much goes with everything!
I’ve really been obsessed with this western belt lately and so I used this trend in my outfit. I love the mix of pastels and white with black leather for a contrast.
Are there any designer bag dupes you’ve discovered lately?
I love experimenting with new make up looks, so when I saw the campaign for Chanel’s Spring / Summer Make Up range, I was so inspired! It’s really refreshing to see bright colours after what seems to be the longest winter, so I created my own version of Chanel’s look which is wearable for day to day.
I haven’t worn a colour like this on my eyes for such a long time, I used to experiment a lot when I was younger but this eyeshadow from KIKO is really wearable. It’s from their new Artist limited edition line and I found it easiest to apply with my finger. You can use it for a subtle wash of colour or build it up to make a strong statement. To shape my eyes I lined them with a brown liner as I felt black would take away from the green and covered my lashes in black mascara.
I also used another product from KIKO on my lips; it’s a really bright pink shade which I thought complimented the green on my eyes. Chanel used a lot of blusher on their models which looks amazing in print but probably a bit mad in ‘real life’! So I did use a pink blush but toned it down.
It was fun to try something new and I’m definitely going to experiment with other colours on my eyes in the near future. Would you wear any of this? What other colours do you recommend?
